Quantifying Positive Impact

The Benefits of Complete Streets

This tool is designed to provide a series of simple tools to quantify the benefits of Complete Streets projects, and help local leaders and advocates communicate those benefits to their communities.

Smart Growth America developed this tool with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity. This tool is designed to measure the benefits of building Activity-Friendly Routes to Everyday Destinations through Complete Streets. These efforts are part of the Active People, Healthy Nation InitiativeSM that is working to help 27 million Americans become more physically active by 2027.
